Tax Exempt Status.com prepared my recent articles of incorporation and application for a 501 (c) 3. Initially, I considered several attorney friends for this service. However, I decided to use a service that specialized in 501s.
It was a good decision and a very good experience. Every step of the way, Tax Exempt Status.com was there to offer advice and encouragement. Their expertise in 501s was exceptional as they never seemed surprised or caught off guard.
David Marmon was prompt in answerering emails and phone calls. Several times he returned phone calls and emails after hours and on weekends. The customer service was outstanding. I made a few suggestions for future consideration. Within a day, the suggestions became part of the package for new customers.

We used this service to help us develop our 501 c3 paperwork. It costs us about $1600 in 2006. Mr. Marmon provided us with very specific instructions and guidelines to walk us through the process. He also gave us deadlines to get each section completed and keep us on track.
If you did not meet the deadlines you were charged a late fee but two times we had personal family issues come up and he gave us an extension without penalty. I believe the deadlines are good to keep things moving and get the process done! We probably still would not have our 501 c3 status if it were not for this service.
The process is rather lengthy and it was very helpful to have Mr. Marmon to answer questions. He was available almost 24/7 when I had questions and usually answered my questions either by e-mail or by phone within 24 hours. Mr. Marmon is very kind, patient and knowledgeable. Also the written guidelines that Mr. Marmon provided were VERY specific and detailed and while it was time consuming it was rather straight forward and easy to complete. We really appreciated his assistance and have had no regrets using this service.
I have contacted Mr. Marmon several times since completing the process and receiving our 501 c3 status and Mr. Marmon always responds quickly and is willing to answer my questions at no extra cost. I would highly recommend this service. Mr. Marmon is or was a homeschool dad and I believe a lawyer.
