ALLIES IN YOUTH DEVELOPMENT
Purpose: Allies in Youth Development will establish a pilot program in the Russian Federation aimed at facilitating civic and social responsibility by providing instruction and opportunities through education and volunteerism. The program aims to increase opportunities to volunteer in area orphanages. By training college students and improving the social network of area orphans, the entire local community will be enhanced by the positive societal impact on younger generations. Raising civic awareness will impact resoundingly as these generations age and take on more responsibilities as mature adults. The positive direction of the Allies in Youth Development program allows the local community to benefit from volunteerism within its own ranks.
