DANTA: ASSOCIATION FOR CONSERVATION OF THE TROPICS, INC.
Purpose: In order to preserve tropical rainforest ecosystems, we believe it is crucially important to train students from Latin America as well as students from developed nations so that expertise in tropical biology and conservation remains in the countries which harbor the greatest environmental challenges. All of our courses incorporate elements of community education and involvement. DOUBLE BLESSINGS-PLUS MINISTRY
Purpose: This Christian faith-based organization aims to be conduit of God’s love, mercy, and compassion to a needy world by providing food, shelter, clothing, emotional, educational, and spiritual help to needy children and elderly alike worldwide. This organization will partner with local orphanages and churches in providing educational opportunities for children to achieve self-sufficiency. In very poor countries such the Philippines, Mexico, Vietnam, and others, where there is great need for clean water in remote areas, this organization will recruit volunteers willing to help build water wells. Nationals will be trained with occupational crafts so that they can in turn train others to help them become productive citizens of their countries. Where appropriate, crops, vegetable, and other plant seeds will be provided to enable the poor to have the opportunity to meet their own needs through their labor. While working to meet physical needs, the organization will also take the opportunity to share the gospel of Jesus Christ and God’s word to children and adults alike.
